Senseo coffeemaker owners – other pods you use?

Target had a really nice storebrand line of pods but they’ve since been discontinued (sadness!) For those of you with Senseo coffeemakers can you recommend other pods you’ve found that work with the Senseo pod – and make great quality coffee? I do buy the Senseo pods but like variety and stores often only carry one or two – or none – of the Senseo pods. Online shops would be great as well.

Note: please only respond if you PERSONALLY have tried and like the pods. I don’t need links to sites that sell pods – I can find those myself – so please don’t answer just to get points – thanks!

I’ve tried another pod and it just didn’t fit really well. I had to apply extra pressure to get the senseo to shut. I’ve tried all the senseo flavors. I was not impressed with the cappucino at all. I love Paris- vanilla caramel and Hazelnut. I just stick with those as well as the Dark Roast.

Quality attributes, processing, and selection of vegetable soybean. $49.99 Vegetable soybean is a crop harvested immature when seeds completely fill the pod, but are still bright green, large, and sweet. Vegetable soybean acreage would increase if new and improved varieties were developed, and post-harvest management of the crop was optimized. The overall objective of this research was to characterize the changes in quality attributes of vegetable soybean under different processing and selection practices. In the first area of research we identified optimum blanching and cooking times based upon the changes in color, texture, enzymatic activity, and chemical composition of three vegetable soybean lines subjected to six different boiling times and processed either in pods or shelled using a steam-jacketed kettle or an electrical-resistance stove. Also, we studied heat-sterilization times and brine compositions, and developed a protocol for canning vegetable soybean that produced a product with acceptable safety and organoleptic properties. On the other hand, a series of field studies were conducted to test the feasibility of indirect selection for important but difficult-to-measure breeding traits. First, we evaluated the correlation of important vegetable soybean quality traits between immature (R6) and mature (R8) stages using 4 genotypes. We observed positive and moderate-to-high correlation coefficients between the R6 and R8 stages for yield, sucrose, texture, and protein; in contrast, no significant correlations were observed for glucose, fructose, raffinose, stachyose, and verbascose contents. Therefore, vegetable soybean lines could be evaluated at the R8 stage and indirectly selected for high yield, soft texture, and high protein and sucrose contents at the R6 stage. Rural Studio $30 For almost ten years, Samuel Mockbee, a recent MacArthur Grant recipient, and his architecture students at Auburn University have been designing and building striking houses and community buildings for impoverished residents of Alabama’s Hale County. Using salvaged lumber and bricks, discarded tires, hay and waste cardboard bales, concrete rubble, colored bottles, and old license plates, they create inexpensive buildings that bear the trademark of Mockbee’s work, which he describes as contemporary modernism grounded in Southern culture. In addition to being a social welfare venture, the Rural Studio– Taliesin South as Mockbee calls it–is also an educational experiment and a prod to the architectural profession to act on its best instincts. It was developed from the company’s C-119 Flying Boxcar, and was unique in the unconventional use of removable cargo pods that were attached below the fuselage, instead of possessing an internal cargo compartment. The XC-120 Packplane began as a C-119B fuselage (s/n 8330) which was cut off at a point just below the flight deck. The wings were raised between the engines and the fuselage, raising the fuselage by several feet and giving the plane a gull wing appearance.
