What is done with green beans, if they do not have a home roaster?
I ordered these by mistake .. They are not properly grind and brew is terrible.
It Dmalfet right! You surely do not want to try drinking Coffee green … not the same as green tea! lol Anyway you can actually roast the beans in a airpopper! This works well or you can roast the Baked in a pan. You can also sell them on eBay … just a few options for you. Airpopper method instructions Instructions: Begin by putting in place workspace near a ventilation area. Your stove with the exhaust fan running is a great place, or near an open window. Turn your popper and preheat it for a minute or two. Add the same amount of beans as you would popcorn. It is typically a line to be met. You can even add a little more than the roasted beans have less mass than the greens. Make sure you continue to use the top of the popper (roaster) and the chute and run in a bowl or other container. Bean straw issue that you do not want flying around your kitchen. Always keep the popper running until you reached the desired roast profile. You will hear the beans pop after a few minutes. This is known as "the first crack. The grains can be taken about 1 minute after the first crack. This will produce a Light Roast. At this point, you will monitor and stop the bean popper when the beans are slightly lighter than your target. They continue to Roast until they have been cooled. Beans progress to another level for about every minute that passes, with the total time for Dark Roast of 6.5 to 7 minutes. Your beans should be cooled as quickly as possible! Some will tell you to use water … DON "T USE OF WATER! This will kill the flavor. Transfer the beans in a metal colander and discard or move them. You can even go out or use a fan to promote faster cooling. Freshly roasted beans emit CO2 (carbon dioxide). It is therefore important not to seal them in a container sealed for at least 4-6 hours after completely cooled. The CO2 will avert oxygen and beans stay fresh up cooling. After complete cooling, it is important to store your beans in a dark, cool (not cold) area, in an airtight container. The freshness of the beans is affected by oxygen, light, humidity and temperature. DO NOT BREW Fresh Roasted beans for AT LEAST 4 HOURS! The taste should develop in the beans and if you stir too soon, you will repent. COOKER SKILLET same method as the method popper you want to turn your stove exhaust fan. With the lid, preheat the stove under low heat (natural gas) or medium-term adjustment (Electric) to almost 500 degrees fairenheit as possible. When the temperature hits 500, quickly remove the lid and add beans. First, it allows more air to get in contact with the beans and helps to cool. Second, the filter removes the ball from beans. Freshly roasted beans emit CO2 (carbon dioxide). It is therefore important not seal them in an airtight container for at least 4-6 hours after completely cooled. The CO2 will avert oxygen and beans remain cool until cool. After complete cooling, it is important to store your beans in a dark, cool (not cold) area, in an airtight container. The freshness of the beans is affected by oxygen, light, humidity and temperature. DO NOT BREW fresh roasted beans for AT LEAST 4 HOURS!
